Happy Saint Patrick's Day
A long time ago, a boy that went by the name of Maewyn Succat. He was originally from Great Britain but when he was just a teenager he was kidnapped to go to Great Britain. So why is he celebrated in Ireland? Well, I'm getting to that. He soon became a missionary teaching the Irish about his beliefs and Christianity. It's also believed that he chased all the snakes out of Ireland. He spread a religion to this country and that's why he's important to Irish culture.
